Mower volunteering!

More volunteers needed.dougkSun, 06/08/2017 - 8:32pm

Our new, wider, ride-on mower has arrived. The new shed is in place behind the Hall. Nine locals have already received the required induction training - last Tuesday (1 August) from MidCoast Council's Steve Howard. This new mower is being shared with Carrington and its larger size will certainly make the work of mowing the village's reserves a much easier task.

Nine volunteers trained is a good start but what we really need is a few more willing hands to share the load. Steve Howard is happy to undertake the necessary training. We will need to keep the reserves at Heros, Casuarina, Water Street and the new park opposite the Hall in good usable shape as well as maintain the around the Hall site, Garden and Tennis Court. If you are happy to join the pool of trained mower volunteers, please contact nacra@northarmcove.nsw.au and we will let Steve know. He will then arrange the required induction session. The more volunteers we have, the better!
