Federal Candidates to meet Cove Community

Invitation
David & Peter

David Gillespie & Peter Alley

We are now part of the Federal electorate of Lyne - tucked in very close to its southern extremity. The election may be on July 2. So who are our candidates? And what do they know about North Arm Cove?

April 9 is the Cove Community's chance to meet with two of the candidates, not just for us to hear their policies, but for us to make sure that whoever is successful in our new electorate is well aware of our village, of its needs and of the hopes and feelings of the members of our community.

Both David Gillespie (the Nationals MP currently representing Lyne) and Peter Alley (the Labor candidate) have agreed to come to speak and answer questions at the April 9 meeting of the Residents Association and then chat over a cuppa. (The Green Party candidate Julie Lyford was also invited but regretfully gave her apologies as she was already committed elsewhere.)

Some brief bios of David and Peter ...
