We are a group of about 12 MCC Volunteers who have created a sustainable community garden and invite fellow MCC residents and others interested in starting a garden to visit .

We will share our story over a cuppa and show off one of the best maintained garden in MCC.
Our official name is North Arm Cove Community Garden Network, and are happy to support and learn from other gardeners in MCC. Our aim is to provide a space where people interested in growing food can share and learn using sustainable gardening practices. We aim to be chemical free and we use natural composting, fertilising and bio sprays. We grow a range of vegetables, fruits, vines and trees.
#Funding and Fund Raising, Site – problem solving, #Composting – Philippa our compost queen will demonstrate hot composting, #Mulching – Sourcing and working with mulch, Selecting Crops – and managing planting/harvesting, #watering and irrigation, #Using recycling materials, #Promotion and communication and Workshops.
The garden is a community resource, to pick greens, make friends, share gardening techniques and ideas and of course gardening is excellent for mental health.
All are invited, children welcome.
