Thanks must go to Great Lakes Council for the Grant, Glenn Handford and Andrew Blatch of GLC, and especially to John Knight of Display...

I have received the following email, which is of interest to Cove residents:

The following advice has been received today from Gordon Grainger;

I received advice today, that the Nota will be discontinued from April 10. I would guess it not surprising following Nat Craig’s departure for greener fields.

This advice has come from Fairfax, owners of the Newcastle Herald, who are in turn, the owners of the Port Stephens Examiner, who have managed and published the Nota for the past few years.

The Examiner will include a...

The NSW Government's Better Boating Program Grants are no longer being offered. Instead NSW Transport is conducting a review of boating infrastructure needs throughout the State, and will replace the Grant system with the Boating Infrastructure Partnership Program. Under this new Program, infrastructure requirements will be assessed and money allocated on a needs basis. The Review is calling for submissions, and there is an on-line questionnaire that can be completed by individuals and organisations at

The Residents Association will of course make a submission. However, we need as many people as possible to...
