May saw the court used 35 times which is great for this time of year and an improvement on May 2010 figures.

I am unable to continue with the role of booking and public officer AFTER THE 30TH JUNE 2012 , so until the Annual General Meeting at the hall on the 14th July at 10am, Bob Griffin will kindly step into the role of temporary booking officer for the 14days prior to the meeting. APRIL TENNIS NEWS

The month of April saw the court booked 37 times, which considering the rainfall was very good. Raw Courts have re-surfaced the court at a cost of $660 which will help keep the surface protected.

A general meeting is to be held on Friday 11th May at 6.30 at the hall to discuss the extension to the practice wall area. Hope to see you all there.

If you are considering joining the tennis club, now is the time. Get 7 weeks free for $20 single membership and $40 for families per year.

Grant unsuccessful

Sadly our grant application for a shed and covered seating area has been unsuccessful. I am led to believe that as a result of the outdoor toilet grant appication being successful, we missed out. We will keep trying.

TIME CHANGE TO MEMBER SOCIAL TENNIS DAYS

Commencing Saturday the 17th March we will be changing back to 9am start for both Saturday and Monday social tennis.

The reason for this change is that there is still a lot of dew on the court and it will give a bit more time to dry out.
