Sadly, there will be no "Christmas in May" Biggest Morning Tea in May this year. Due to the Coronavirus risk and the ever changing government regulations regarding the number of people who can attend social functions, the Stitch Gatherers group unanimously decided to cancel the event.
The group also considered the fact that many visitors to the Biggest Morning Tea are 60+ which is the age group at highest risk.
The event will be back even bigger and better in 2021 and the theme will still be "Christmas in May".
Anyone who was planning to enter the craft competition this year will now have plenty of time to create a special Christmas themed entry for next year.
