The North Arm Cove Stitch Gatherers group is hoping to make this year’s Biggest Morning Tea on Saturday 4 May bigger and better than ever.

With a black and white theme, the craft competition should produce some interesting and unusual entries.  There are prizes for the best hand crafted items across a range of categories and many of the entries will be auctioned after the judging.

Entry fee is $5.00 and this includes a morning tea of assorted sandwiches, cakes and slices and as much tea and coffee as you can drink.

Last year the start time was moved from the traditional 10am to 9.30am so that people could browse the sale tables.  The earlier start proved to be very successful so this year will see an even bigger variety of hand crafted, donated and pre-loved goods for sale. So many of us in and around the area have been impacted by cancer and all proceeds from the sale tables, auctions and raffles will go to the Cancer Council to help provide vital research.
