This coming Saturday (given suitable conditions) the NAC RFS Brigade will be carrying out a hazard reduction burn from behind the Community Centre down towards Promontory way and Beauty Point. Several other Brigades will be assisting. Anyone who suffers distress from smoke should perhaps go out for the day, to avoid adverse reactions. This is the first in a series of HR's planned so hopefully the weather will stay kind.
