Deer Fence News
We are in progress in receiving materials to commence our Fencing of the community garden area to protect the produce from Deer feeding .
We must salute the Wilks Family ( Coralie , Brian and son in law David Stead ) who have been very generous in leading us to the philanthropic support from Supplier to Bunnings- "Jacks " ( The Whites Group ).
David works for the WHITES Group and they elect needy community groups that require a leg up in their projects. The Garden volunteers have been despondent about the damage incurred by the deer for a couple of years now. Hopefully this is the kindest way to deter the deer. Bunnings are also covering the costs of initial materials . Thankyou also to Bunnings .
Posts , extra gates , concrete and labour will also be needed. The men of the community garden plus a couple of residents have put their hand up to help but we do need some extra financial support. The Garden Fees we have saved will be used but we may be short . Please donate to the Garden ( $30.00 ) Annual Fees and you can also enjoy our produce.......
