Results of the Community Survey are in and a draft community plan has been sent to the Community Engagement Team at MCC and also discussed at the Southern Area Regerence Group.
There were 73 responses from households and 196 residents which is a significant sample of the 260 households of permanent and others living in the Cove.
Council has agreed that there will be progress on Heros Beach facilities and landscaping which has been on the agenda since 2013. There is also agreement for other improvements including power to the Community Centre. Residents rated a local coffee shop as a priority and a number of activites including a playgroup and learning groups for residents. The 355 Hall Committee will be meeting to make a plan for 2020.
