This edition has some interesting articles that would be of interest to many North Arm Cove residents.

The first article is titled: Noisy, dangerous and intrusive – should jet skis be banned in Port Stephens?

The behaviour of some bad-egg jetski drivers is becoming a serious problem in Port Stephens generally, and EcoNetwork is asking residents opinions on what should be done - for example, should they be banned, or speed limits introduced, or increased fines, or allocated areas, or perhaps restricting their use to outside peak holiday seasons. This article discusses these options in some detail and provides information on jetski issues and how to report bad behaviour. You can access this article directly from this link: jetski article

The second article is titled: Port Stephens – a land formed by fire and ice. This is a very detailed article about the geology of Port Stephens, and how it was formed by volcanic action and then modified by glacial action and rising sea levels. A great article for those interested in our natural history, with lots of photos and drawings to illustrate the geological concepts.
