Being surrounded by bush with only one road in and out of town, without YOUR local brigade you will be waiting more than 20 minutes for help to arrive from Karuah or Tea Gardens if they are able to access.

Volunteering with the NSW RFS offers you the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills that will not only assist you in your voluntary role but in day to day life and even your workplace. It is also an opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally meet.
We have members who are ready to answer your questions at the Gloucester st station on the first Tuesday of the month at 1900hrs, the first and last Saturday of the month from 900hrs to 1100hrs.
