The NAC Rural Fire Service (RFS) needs you...

With member numbers in decline we may struggle to keep the doors open.

Crew and our CAT1 appliance will be at the community centre on Saturday 14th from 8am in an attempt to desperately recruit new members. If you want to join, have questions, have a look and play with the fire truck or just wish to say hello we would love to see you.

Being surrounded by bush with only one road in and out of town, without YOUR local brigade you will be waiting more than 20 minutes for help to arrive from Karuah or Tea Gardens if they are able to access.

Are you ready to make a difference?

Volunteering with the NSW RFS offers you the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills that will not only assist you in your voluntary role but in day to day life and even your workplace. It is also an opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally meet.

We also have members who are ready to answer your questions at the Gloucester St station on the first Tuesday of the month at 1900hrs, the first and last Saturday of the month from 900hrs to 1100hrs.

Come say g’day.                                     (Adam Elliott)
