Earlier this year representatives of the various community groups in North Arm Cove met and decided to work together on Cove wide projects. These groups included NACCAi, tennis, community centre management committee, garden group and the RFS brigade.

The first project was to develop a comprehensive residents information pack. Many years ago we used to have a Welcome for New Residents brochure, but it is now quite out of date and anyway only contained limited information.

The Residents Information Pack has now been completed. It is very comprehensive and contains a lot of information about the Cove, and nearby services and shopping.  Printed copies of the pack are currently delivered to new Cove residents who moved in since mid 2022. These printed packs also contain welcome gift vouchers from Coffee in the Cove, Zumba, garden group and Pilates. Many thanks to these groups for making these gift vouchers available.

Existing residents can access the residents pack from the website where it can be found under reference documents, and a copy is also attached to the bottom on this article. If any existing resident would like a copy of the pack and they are unable to download or print one, if you send an email to naccai@northarmcove.nsw.au we will arrange a printed copy for you.

Copies of the information pack will be provided to all new residents when they move into the Cove.

The cost of printing these packs was paid for by a very generous donation of $2,000 from MidCoast Council.

We would love to get your feedback on the pack and any suggestions for improvement or additional content - just send us an email to naccai@northarmcove.nsw.au.

The next project the combined groups is going to work on is developing a long-term plan for the community centre precinct (this includes Yallarwah Park), particularly looking at parking and ideas/locations for additional facilities such as a Mens Shed, bocce court etc. The plan is to prepare a draft long-term plan and then seek community input on it. Since the community precinct is owned by MidCoast Council, we will be involving Council in the plan development, and Council will need to sign-off on the final version.
