Following the public exhibition of proposals (to which our Residents Association made a response) the NSW Government has now finalised guidelines to assist the development of land currently contained within "paper subdivisions". Without re-subdivision this land is unable to be developed appropriately. The guidelines provide a mechanism by which current owners can potentially come to an agreement to allow that re-subdivision to occur.
Much of the land surrounding the North Arm Cove village falls into the "paper subdivision" category but it would seem that any action on that land under these guidelines may be some time off. The priority for the NSW Government at this stage seems to be paper subdivisions in Western Sydney and the Central Coast.
