PLEASE SLOW DOWN...

Information

Speeding is to blame for so many local fauna road deaths... especially over the last couple of weeks. Many residents of North Arm Cove have brought to light, numerous tragedies with Bluetongues, Wallabies, Echidnas, Galahs and Rainbow Lorikeets. It's Springtime and wildlife are on the move and sadly they seem to settle in the middle of the roads.

Speed limits are difficult to enforce. This is an ongoing problem and with the advent of more visitors to the Cove, North Arm Cove Community Centre Management Committee (NACCCMC) have purchased signs which have been placed strategically around the Cove in an effort to remind visitors, tradies and locals of the fauna and to take extra care.

If you are expecting visitors to your home... whether it be friends, family or tradies, please take a moment to forewarn them to SLOW DOWN in the Cove.
