The Community Centre building has undertaken refurbishment over the last few months with exterior cleaning and painting. The handrails, door frames and grab rails have been painted too - giving a sharp new look the the Hall.
A smart new street ‘Library’ has been mounted to the wall beneath the pergola / seating area plus a planter box installed containing natives / grasses on the outer area to beautify the area.
The Management Committee are currently consulting with MidCoast Council on the upgrade of interior lighting from fluorescent to downlighting. We are also endeavouring to supply WiFi to the Community Centre which would enable the use of a much-needed eftpos facility at Coffee in the Cove.
We hope the community enjoy the upgrade as much as we do!
