THANKYOU RESIDENTS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION - Fire Preparedness Workshop

We are pleased to report a worthwhile workshop was experienced by our community last Saturday 5th August. Thank you to community members who participated , it was a great opportunity with a 70 plus attendance. Residents are now better equipped with information on this serious topic .

Presenters Peter Brown ( MCC Bushfire Preparedness Officer ), Bill Moller (NAC RFS Brigade Captain ), Maria Frazer (NSW Reconstruction), Heidi Chapellow (Local Land Services) and Steve Carmichael (MCC Bushfire Officer) shared their knowledge and experience on bushfire preparation and evacuation. It was very well received. We say thank you for an excellent workshop!

To our resident maestro of catering John Fisk and his helpers Loal Conroy , Jan Walker , Geoff and Leanne Long, we also say thank you !

If you were unable to attend the workshop please visit Tea Gardens Library to access the special emergency radio, and note the Rural Fire Service website for tips and information on readying your property for a bushfire.

Jonathon and myself were pleased to come across this service for Rural Communities.  We ask all residents to come forward if any further sessions are available on any important or relevant issues that may assist our community in any way .

Please note that the NACCAi ordinary meeting and AGM are being held on Saturday 19th August at 2pm at the community centre. Further details will be posted on our website.
This is a forum where our community gathers to discuss our plans for improving North Arm Cove . Village residents and landowners are all welcome to attend!
