By mpickles, 4 June, 2020

The Community Centre Management Committee members are busy preparing for the Hall to open for activities.

Mid Coast Council have to provide a Covid 19 managment plan for halls prior to opening..... we are expecting this very soon.

Brighten and lighten - MCC have provided the paint and we will provide the workers - The aim is to freshen up the whole hall and make the areas washable. We will start painting the main area next week.

Re-surfacing the floor - it has been over 15 years since the floor has been sanded, so we are providing a much needed make over with new surface.

New table in the pergola area - a plan to open up the pergola area for more seating and movement is underway and the committee will puirchase a new table and bench.

Coffee Shop - Trish Parnell is the coordinator for the coffee shop group and interested residents are welcome to join the group. So far we have ideas for the design of the area and already have some bakers and many potential  customers. We will keep you posted.

Community Yard Work - a BBQ and working bee will be planned for July around the centre environs. In the meantime we will be working on the hedges to tidy up the front of the building.

Community Plan - the committee has reviewed the draft plan made with NACRA as a joint project last year and are nearly completed with the plan that will be discussed once Council Community Engagement team able to have meetings in communities.

Activities are the Hall will be promoted here, by email and on the North Arm Cove Facebook page
