Constitution Survey Update

Information

On Sunday evening 1 March 2020 I sent an email to all members (for whom we had email addresses) requesting them to complete a short seven question survey on the new constitution, by Monday 16 March 2020.

The purpose of the survey is to determine members views on whether people from the surrounding non-urban and rural areas should be permitted to be members of the association, and if so what voting rights they should have.

The survey is hosted on an easy to use online portal called β€œSurvey Monkey”, and my email contained links to the survey. So far (9pm Sunday 8 March) about 50% of our members had completed the survey.

Completing the survey is really important for the association, as the aggregated responses will be used to determine whether NACCAi stays as a village only association or is opened up to include our non-urban and rural neighbours.

We are hoping that all members will complete the survey. If anyone is having trouble accessing it using the links in the email, or has any questions on it, please contact me for assistance.

We are aiming to discuss the results of the survey and our recommendations on the new constitution at the next general meeting, to be held at 10am on Saturday 4 April 2020.

Copies of the survey are being mailed to members that do not have email addresses.

Bob Reid, on behalf of the NACCAi Committee
