The NAC Roads and Drainage subcommittee - Gary Sylvaney - has finalised the roads and signage report. This final report takes into account resident feedback on the draft version that was placed on the website a month ago.
The report will now be sent to MidCoast Council for consideration, and in a few weeks we will contact Council's traffic managers to arrange a meeting to discuss the report and work up a action plan for implementing the recommendations. We may find that some of the recommendations are not possible and we have to work out compromises, and the police may also have views on them.
With Christmas coming up and people being allowed to travel again, it may take a while to get traction. So I don't think that things will happen quickly over the next few months but hopefully we'll have an action plan in place by February.
