I have received the following email, which is of interest to Cove residents:
The following advice has been received today from Gordon Grainger;
I received advice today, that the Nota will be discontinued from April 10. I would guess it not surprising following Nat Craig’s departure for greener fields.
This advice has come from Fairfax, owners of the Newcastle Herald, who are in turn, the owners of the Port Stephens Examiner, who have managed and published the Nota for the past few years.
The Examiner will include a 2-4 page section, published weekly, with content focused on the Myall Coast community, which will also be available on line via -www.portstephensexaminer.com.au.
The owners advise no lessening of coverage of the Myall Coast community and that they hope to achieve a better result than previous. Distribution will be via strategic bulk drop locations, however there was no mention of continuation of household deliveries.
Guess we can expect an official announcement in the near future.
