NACRA GUEST SPEAKER TO COVER AGED CARE ISSUES

By Annie44, 4 June, 2014

Jane Burrage-Swift, Senior Leader Southern Ageing Services will be the special guest speaker at the North Arm Cove Resident’s Association General Meeting on 14 June.

The subject of Jane’s address will be “Caring for the Community at home” and cover the services she leads in the southern area of Great Lakes, including social and recreational services for those over 65, those with memory loss, living alone or with a carer.

Jane will be happy to answer any questions residents may have and will also provide information on assisted transport to and from local doctors, banking and shopping.   Printed material covering disability services will also be available.

This is an excellent opportunity for older cove residents, or those with aged or dependant relatives living in the Cove to obtain information on the aged care services provided by Great Lakes Council.

The General meeting will commence 10am 14 June at the Community Hall – all members and residents welcome.
