The next NACRA Meeting will be held on 9 Feb 2019.
Starting at 10 am.
NACRA is kicking off 2019 with some sucesses.
1. An electricity deal is being struck which will mean discounts for costs and a better outcomes for solar. Up to 32% discount for Cove Residents. NACRA needs to show at least 100 households are interested. So far we have around 45 registered. 2. Recycling Bottles and Cans - Lyn McKee has organised a way for bottles to be recycled from NAC and the funds going to community causes.
3. Signage - We agreed at the last meeting for improved signage and speed restrictions, we just need a couple of members to get behind a proposal to Mid Coast Council and RMS.
4. Hot on the agenda at Mid Coast Council are a number of changes to policies.
Changes to Tree Preservation Orders looks simple enough from the outside....however willl make matters more complicated for managing trees, Bring along your ideas for how we can ensure the best outcome for where we live.
Complaints Policy - looks like Council does not want to talk to us.
