    1. Firewise Special Guest: Kellie McLeod

    2. Possible grant application The Cove has received Community Partnership grants for each of the past two years so our chances of success this time may therefore be slim, but zero if we do not apply. Applications close 30 October. One suggested project is a picnic shelter/bbq facility at a waterfront community reserve. The master plan for Casuarina identifies the need for a replacement for the now decrepit bbq facility at Casuarina. The master plan for Heros Bay is not yet completed but is expected to be undertaken this financial year. Successful grant applications are advised in April 2013 and projects should be completed by March 2014. It is likely that Council would support an application for a picnic shelter/bbq facility.
