Great Lakes Council is co-hosting a free Marine Discovery Series Talk on Thursday 29th November at the Pacific Palms Surf Club from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
Heidi Taylor, Australian Coastal Custodian of the Year (2005) will be presenting a talk on the impacts of marine debris and offer simple and effective solutions to this devastating problem. David Harasti from Fisheries will talk on research into the elusive and threatened Black Cod. Information will also be provided at the event through displays from Great Lakes Council, Take 3, and Ocean and Coastal Care Initiatives.
