During the Christmas period NACRA became aware that Great Lakes Council with funding from NSW Maritime was seeking submissions to help provide a clear direction for the development of boating facilities in it's area including jetties ,wharves,fishing platforms and boat ramps and all the inclusions that assist in the enjoyment of the waterways.
The strategy is to provide clear direction on how to facilitate the recreational boating needs of all users.These identified priority improvements will guide Council when developing future budgets and applying for Grant Applications.
The NACRA Boat Ramp and Water Access Sub Committee prepared the following submission (between munching Christmas pud , visiting rellies and grand children) for submission to Council by 6 January.
