Our annual Clean Up Australia Day event this Sunday 3rd March is set to be cracker. We've had a good number of people RSVP and based on past experience, we're expecting many more to 'rock up' on the morning.
Recap of timings for Sunday:
- 8:00am - 8:15am - Meet at Community Hall for sign-in, bags/gloves pickup and briefing
- 8:15am - 10:30am - Clean Up activities in teams at various locations around NAC
- 10:30am - 11:30am - Morning tea at Community Hall
Morning tea - get your bake on!
Unfortunately, the café will not be open on Sunday, so we're calling on our enthusiastic volunteers to bake a sweet treat for sharing at the morning tea afterwards. Teas and coffees will be provided.
Vehicles and equipment
A reminder to bring along any utes/trailers/vehicles that you're willing to use for the Clean Up - this will help in not only loading up rubbish but also transporting volunteers to various locations. Also, if you have a blower, please bring that along too - we're planning to have a road-based team cleaning up the shredded rubber/debris at the intersection of Gooreengi Road and Somerset Avenue and a blower or two will make the job much quicker.
