This comming week is a release date for Ken Follet's latest book "The Evening and the Morning", a prequel to what was an amzing trilogy so far, about fictional town in medieval England - Kingsbridge.
I was introducude to the first book, "The Pillars of the Earth", by a builder that I was working with in South Africa in mid 1990s. We have designed and built a gated community development named "Kingsbridge Estate".
Ever since, I have been fascinated by the ways comunities are created, made to prosper, or fail, how social, economic, political events, and even pandemics, can affect that success or failure. But most importantly, how individual actions can contribute to either side.
