Strength in 'Weakness'

I would like to share something special that a dear long-time friend of mine sent me recently. My friend is currently facing the biggest health challenge of her life and she reflected on this magnificent photograph and likened the animals to the people closest to her.

"Currently I feel like the small bedgraggled-looking rooster at the front. It is interchangeable though because at any given time I can also be the llama, buffalo, sheep or goat and when it comes time for you to need my help then that's exactly what I will be. For just now though, I am the rooster."

At various stages and times in our lives we can be many different things. At times we may feel weak while at other times we feel strong. Do not be afraid to be either. Very rarely do we sit at a constant way of being. One of my favourite sayings is "this too shall pass". Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others.
