Vandalism strikes again!

Wanton damage to the Community Garden... once again, vandalism has occurred over the weekend.  It would appear to have been on both Saturday and Sunday leaving a sorry sad trail of destroyed plants.

The Community Garden Group (volunteers) toil in all weathers for hours to create a little area for others to pay a modest fee to pick during the year and do not deserve this.  We are not used to such behavior in the Cove not do we want to see it recurring.

We would be most grateful if you could all keep an eye as you drive past or if you hear anything.

I thought the com hall had camera monitoring since the break in.

If the cameras don,t cover the garden area then we need a camera with infra red [night viewing] up high in a tree or pole.

Common sense tells us it would not be one of the villages.

it would either be one off the non urbanites with a gripe against the village people [not the YMCA ones] us.

Or one of the dick heads who do burn outs on the weekend.

I came home from Penrith late one Saturday night a few months ago and saw  large smoke over the T section where they do burn outs.A car took off into the bush , and three people standing on the road with and old 4 wheel drive.I took the rego number of the 4 wheel drive and called the Tea Gardens police and  said they would send someone out ?

Well , I never heard anything back from the police and the burn outs continue !
