The Aussie Backyard Bird Count is on again this week from 18 October to 24 October. Volunteers just do a bird count for 20 minutes from anywhere they wish. All you have to do is Register, download the App and count the birds for 20 minutes. You can do it as many times as you like.
You don't have to be an expert. The App helps you identify the birds, and if you don't know, you just leave it out. The App continues to work even after the count is over, so you will have a free bird identification App on your phone.
