Sunday the 3rd of March 2024 at 8am (meet at the Community Centre) to 10:30am with après Tea and chat. It’s a great way to meet your North Arm Cove companions and everyone has a good time.
It is our yearly attempt at cleaning up the environs in North Arm Cove under the auspices of Clean Up Australia.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and join your neighbours in cleaning up our much-loved North Arm Cove including the village, the bushland, the roadsides and foreshore areas. Every year, Clean Up proves to be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a village, strengthen our sense of community and work together to keep our valued local environment clean and free from litter and dumped rubbish.
A reconnoitre around the area shows there is rubbish around, not as bad as other years but we have long standing plans for areas we haven’t got to, so a good turnout would be ideal.

- · The foreshore/waterfront team
- · The Roadways teams
- · The bush team
We need people most of all, however if you happen to own a 4x4, ute, car and trailer and/or tinny please, please, bring that along too. Again let us know what you can provide so we can plan ahead, but if you do find you can make at the last moment – do front up anyway. We do not ask anyone to work above their limits.
If you can’t get there on the Sunday, Saturday 2nd March ‘Pre Clean Up’ is an option. That starts at 8am and goes to 10:30am. Again let John know if you prefer to go for that option.
Reminder –
- You need proper enclosed footwear and dress for the conditions
- If it is raining we just wear raincoats and get wet.
- Gloves are provided as are fluoro jackets for the road teams.
- Children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by a parent
