It’s time for our yearly Clean Up Australia Day event in North Arm Cove!
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and join your neighbours in tidying up our beautiful surrounds, including the village, bushland, roadsides, and foreshore areas. Clean Up Day is always a fantastic opportunity to come together, strengthen our community spirit, and ensure that our much-loved environment stays clean and free from litter.
There's seems to be plenty of rubbish currently lining our roadsides and littering our local bushland and waterways and so we'll need all the help we can to make sure this year's clean up has a big impact.
If you come across any major rubbish dumps or roadside litter over the coming weeks, please let us know so we can put it on our radar for the clean up.
To help with planning, please contact Rob at artech2@bigpond.com if you can join us and let us know you can contribute. This will help us organise teams, including:
- Foreshore Team
- Roads Team
- Parks Team
- Bushland Team
Importantly, if you own a 4x4, ute, car and trailer, or tinny, please bring it along - these are our greatest assets in rounding up the large volumes of trash we invariably collect. Let us know if you can provide equipment or vehicles.
Everyone is welcome on the day. Even if you decide to join at the last minute, just show up—we’ll find a role for you!

Important Reminders:
- Wear proper enclosed footwear and dress for the conditions.
- If it rains, we just put on raincoats and carry on!
- Gloves and fluoro jackets are provided for road teams.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.
