Vulnerable Plants are now growing well in the Yallarwah park at North Arm Cove.
The Netted Bottle Brush or Callistemon Linearifolius are flowering and are a great show/
This species is listed as vulnerable by the Office of Environment and Heritage.
The flowers are the favourite eating for the Scarlet Honey Eater. Prior to the land clearing for the APZ there were families of the honey eaters around the hall. Additional land clearing further to the west took out more of Netted Bottle Brush.
