North Arm Cove Annual Wildflower Walk

By mpickles, 18 November, 2014

This year has been an abundance of flowers starting with the wattles and dillwynia  in August, boronia, black eyed susans, patersonia, in September some of which are still flowering in November along with the Eucalyptus. The annual wildflower walk was held 28 September with 15 people attending.

This year the walk was led by Tony Stokes and Bill Mollar. Tony has a wide knowledge of orchids and lilies of which we managed to find many, and Bill has good identification skills across a number of species. Eng Lim a visitor to the Cove from Menai took many beautiful photos, which we can use to produce an identification sheet for next year. We have loaded a few of the photos from Eng in the Gallery. If you can help identify some of the flowers we would appreciate your input through comments.

do you have a photo of a plant or flower that you would like to share?
You can add a photo to the North Arm Cove website by registering on the site and putting up a photo on the gallery.
