From our place on Cove Boulevarde we see some glorious sunrises, but we can't see the sunsets due to the hills and trees behind us.
In the past few days there has been virtually no wind late in the afternoon, and the Cove has been smooth and glassy, so I have taken my kayak for a paddle late in the day and watched the sunset from the middle of the Cove.
On Friday the sunset didn't look like it was going to be much at all, but then for a few minutes just before darkness it was quite spectacular. I have a little waterproof camera which I took with me, and I took the following photograph looking towards the north-west.
It was quite a magic time being out there, no wind, smooth water and the wonderful sunset!
