After a brief delay due to yesterday's rain, further work on implementing the protection plan has swung into action at the Community Centre. Work commenced behind the Library on preparing the slab site for the fire-fighting water tank. Storage will also be provided for a generator and pump.
At the other end of the building, work has also commenced today. This involves sealing unused windows and preparing for the installation of ember screening on other Centre windows.
Meanwhile, the clearing work in the Cove continues.
