The musical adaptation of Louise May Alcott’s classic ‘Little Women’ by the Maitland Gilbert and Sullivan Society, is well on track with full rehearsals twice a week for their performances of two shows at 2pm and 8pm on Saturday October 20th at the Hawks Nest Community Centre.
In preparation for the show the Great Lakes Council has repainted the stage area and carried out extensive electrical work on the stage electrical system in the Community Centre.
Andrew Braybrook, Manager of Community Services has expressed his delight that Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest is able to attract and stage shows of such quality and thanks to his and the Great Lakes Council continuing support there is every possibility more visiting shows of this calibre will find they have a very appreciative audience waiting for them in our area.
Details of shows and Tickets will be available by the end of September.
