It's now three years since our Residents Association submitted its successful application for Dinghy Ramps. Planned to make it easier to hand-launch at Water Street and Casuarina Reserves, these ramps have been awaiting Crown Lands approval. A wait of more than a year.
On 14 December last year, Crown Lands told us that the last requirement for approval had been met. All that remained was for the final approval letter to be sent to Council. Seven months on – still nothing! Why?
Has Crown Lands been so shrunk by efficiency dividends that it is no longer functional?
