I met with Geoff Love (GLC engineer) and two representativesof the consultancy firm drawing up the plans for the future stormwater work in the Cove. He couldn't tell me much as everything is still very much in the planning stage. He said there are many problem areas in the Cove and dealing with them will be difficult (and no doubt expensive). The draft plans are on display in the Library, which unfortunately is only open Saturday mornings. However he did emphasise that people still have quite a few weeks to look at them and raise any concerns they may have with him. Money has been set aside in this years budget for work in Cove Bvd to overcome the flow of stormwater onto properties from approximately Nos. 48-54.
