Between the past week's all-to-frequent squally showers, David Read and his team have been able to commence work on the Cove's planned Commmunity Precinct. The first task is creating the ~400 metre walking/cycling track that will meander around the reserve opposite the Hall. The layout of this track was determined several weeks ago by Council Parks and Recreation staff in conjunction with the Project's local steering subcommittee. The track when completed will have a fine crushed rock surface.

Before this extended rainy period commenced, David's Team had been busy at Water Street Reserve putting the second dinghy ramp in. Both ramps look fabulous and there have already been many happy users. A formal "opening" will be organised in the near future.
