A big thank you to the five intrepid Cove locals who volunteered to assist at the recent Hawks Nest Triathlon Festival. For their day's effort not only did they come away with a collectors-item T-shirt but they earned the Residents Association a significant sum of money!
Over 600 competitors participated in four different levels. The eldest competitor local Chris Lock of Tea Gardens (74) and the youngest a boy aged about 13. A very well organized event with surf swim, bike leg then a road run. They hope to return next year as the competitors loved the location.
