A good discussion followed an interesting presentation from our State MP Kate Washington when she updated Saturday's Residents Meeting on a wide range of current state issues. The topics addressed included hospital public-private partnerships, the Williamtown contamination and sale of part of the Mambo wetlands . Kate also dicussed issues she was encountering as a result of her added responsibilities as shadow minister for both Early Childhood and the Hunter. These roles were often requiring her to travel and as a result she was spending quite a bit of time away from the Electorate.
